Events

"If we measure the time that has passed since 1991 by the events which have taken place, it seems long ago. Nevertheless, the results are still powerfully with us, and will stay with us well into the future. We need to be clear about them, otherwise they could turn against us"
Pavel Bratinka, Conference of Foreign Ministers 2001

Prague Society events are a mixture of formal (on the record) and informal (off the record) occasions, characterised by a singular purpose: encouraging ethical practice and international cooperation in Central Europe.

Whereas Prague Society conferences and lectures are large-scale events, which attract major domestic and international figures, our suppers and chats are smaller in scope, allowing one-to-one interaction. We also host symposia for students, organise meetings between selected Press and our guests, and present a yearly citizenship Award.
